Well hi I'm Samantha Richards and in my school I'm known as the new nerd along with my great friends and well.. my little sister Kelly. The only member of my friend who is popular is my brother Connor. Outside of the house he is a jerk but inside he is a loving brother. But I don't want to say that I hate him it's just that he watches me as I get picked on. Maybe things would be simple if I told you from the beginning. How about when I first met Nick When Samantha and Nick were seven Well it all began when I met Nick at the second grade. It was in the morning when we were getting ready for class when Mrs.Paterson said in a polite voice "Good morning class" and then we said "Good morning Mrs.Paterson" "Okay ladies and gentlemen presenting our new student Nick Jonas. Say hello to the class Nick" said the teacher. Now when all the girls saw them the gazed at him. I liked him too but he would probably be like the other guys in our class. But instead Nick was the type of shy guy. So he said "Hi"in a low voice. I found guys who were shy cute. So our teacher said "Okay Nick you can sit with Miss. Samantha. Samantha raise your hand"When the teacher said that Nick had to sit next to me the girls groaned. I blushed and raised my hand. When Nick saw my hands up he began to walk to his seat. My heart began to race like a horse running. Once he sat at his seat I said"Hi I'm Samantha" Nick turned to me and said"Nick,Nick Jonas"I giggled.Then I said "Nice to meet you Nick. How's your first day here?" 'Well not bad. But I don't want to go to school"he said. "Everyone doesn't want to go to school but we have to."I said. He smiled "Yeah." "Hey how about I show you around the school?There isn't much to show you but I'll just show you as we go along"I suggested. He smiled and said "Okay thanks" Now I know it's hard to believe that a jock would be friends with a nerd but that was when we were little. Let me tell you when we started middle school When Nick and Samantha were twelve Before we started middle school we were best friends. We were inseparable and made a pact to never leave each other. And well people thought we were dating. I wished we did but not until we started middle school. Everything changed when we met the meanest of the mean...MILEY! Once Nick and Miley started going out he blows me off for Miley. Everything she wants he does. So one day Miley told Nick to bug me the whole entire year. Nick just stayed silent. "So are you going to do it or not?"said Miley. That was when I never knew Nick anymore. He hesitated and said "I'll do it" One time when I said hi to him he said "Hey loser!" I cried because of him. But that's when I made friends named Sasha and Laura. They helped me forget that he was my friend. And I did. I never remembered having him as a friend. But you know how things can happen once you start High School. Now they are in high school It has been a long time since then. And Nick became popular along with his backstabbing girlfriend Miley. Your probably wondering why I'm calling Miley a backstabbing girlfriend right? Well one,she's using Nick for popularity and two she is cheating on Nick with Cody Linely,Nick's best friend. Cody was using Nick to get to his girlfriend Miley. Now I felt sorry for Nick but it's his problem he got a girlfriend like her.Anyways Nick still bugs me as usual. He's only doing it to please Miley. So anyways it's been 3 months since we have started High School and now all of us are on winter vacation. Sorry for skipping three months because then you would probably be bored from listening of the routine like go to school,get bullied,and get out of school. So on New Years My family and I were going to Slopes to celebrate New Years. Actually we went two days before New Years. Now the hotel was fabulous. So one New Years they were holding a masquerade karaoke and dancing. I know there is no such thing a masquerade karaoke but in that hotel there was. So I just wanted to stay in my hotel balcony until my mom came outside "Hey hunny. Aren't you going to the masquerade karaoke and dance?"said my mom. I looked at my mom and said "Nope." She looked at me and said "Why?It's New Years Eve you should be there" I groaned and said "Do I have to?" She said "Yes now go and dress up" "Fine"I said and walked in to see a beautiful dark purple with a mask and perfect heels I gasped and said "Oh my gosh. This is what I'm going to wear?" "Well actually that's for the dancing but this is what your wearing for the karaoke"said my mom and showed my the outfit "CUTE! Thanks mom"I said "Your welcome. Your brother is at his friends party and..."Said my mom but then I interrupted her "Connor's friends are here?"I asked "Yep. So Kelly's asleep" "Okay thanks mom"I said and kissed her cheek. She always knew what I liked. SO now I changed into my clothes. But I had to wear a mask with it too! So after I was finished I walked to the party with my clothes I put my dress in the place where people won't steal it. Once I put it in my secret place I came out to see how the party was. Man were there a lot of teenagers that i didn't even know. And that's because everyone was wearing a mask. But when I saw a guy I thought wow he looks familiar.But I knew that couldn't be anyone I knew. So I tried finding a seat. I looked at the stage to see two people singing. After they were finished the host came up. "Give it up for them! Okay now we are going to choose two people from the audience. Once the spotlight stops on those two they have to come up and sing for us" So now the spotlight starts around and points to me and the guys who I thought was familiar. I didn't want to go but two guys picked me up and brought me to I begged "Oh no I don't think I can sing" They got the other guy to and he begged . But they blocked him. The host gave me and the guy the microphone. He said "Don't worry you'll thank me. Or not."Then he walks off. Now I was going to embarrass myself. I love singing when no one hears me. Well I looked at the guy who was shy. But he knew he had to sing so he began Mystery guy:*sings*Living in my own world. Didn't understand.That anything can happen. when you take a chance I gulped and sang Samantha:*sings*I never believed in. What I couldn't see. I never opened my heart *looked at the mystery guy* Mystery Guy:*looks at Samantha,smiles,and sings*Oh Samantha:*blushes,looked away and sings*To all the possibilities,ohhhhhhhh Both:I know Samantha:*feels a little bit comfortable and sings*That something' has changed Both:Never felt this way Samantha:And right here tonight Both:*looks at each other for support and sings*This could be the We sing the rest of the song. During the song it felt magical. Like something inside of me was saying that this is the perfect night. That I should know this guy. But I couldn't. I would always be nervous onstage but when I sang with him it was like it was only me and him. After we finished the song the crowd went wild. So I blushed and walked off stage. The next thing I know is that I hear someone calling for me. I turned around to see the guy who I was singing with. He smiled and said "Hi." I smiled back and said "Hi" "You were awesome onstage. Have you singed before?"asked the mystery guy "Only in the bathroom or in my room"I laughed "You sound like a pro"he said in a smile. "Well how about you?It sounds like you've sing alot"I said ""Well same here. Sing in my room"He said "Well I have to dress up for the dance"I said "Me too! I'll meet you"He said with a smile "You wished"I said with a smirk and walked away.i knew that he stood there in amazement. Man that was kind of weird of why I did that but I walked up that stairs to get my dress and dress in. So after I finished I loved it. Let me show you As I walked down the stairs I could see a lot of boys staring at me which freaked me out. But I just walked down to the party. As soon as I stepped in the room I could see guys staring at me again! As I walked through the crowd some guys kept asking if I would dance I didn't want to reject anyone but I only said yes to the last guy. So I started dancing with him. After the slow song ended the guy wanted to dance more. I was about to say something when someone patted his shoulder. And guess who it was?The mystery guy. He was wearing this Anyways he tapped his shoulders and asked "May I have a dance with this lady?" He nodded and walked off. He smiled and said"You look beautiful"I blushed and said "Thanks. You look handsome" Now he smiled as big and said"Why Thank you" I giggled. And then we hear a slow song(which is Can I Have This Dance) I said "OMG I love this song"I looked at him and saw his hand extended "I was going to ask this..."he said ""Which is?"I asked "Can I have this dance?"he asked. I looked at his hand and smiled. I took his hand. So we began to dance. I said "Your a good dancer" He smiled "Thanks. And I think your good at dancing" I blushed and said "Why Thank you" He spinned me around which was fun. After the song was over we walked out to the balcony. I looked at the view. It was so beautiful. I knew the guy was looking at me so I looked at him. Once I looked in his eyes I was in a whole new world. He looked in my eyes. I snapped out of it and asked"So what's your name?" I said "Can't tell"He smirked. I groaned "Why not?"I asked. "I'll give you my nickname."He said. "Okay."I said "My nickname is Mr.President"he said. I giggled "nice nickname Mr.president"He was sarcastic and said "Well what's your nickname Missy?" After we both put our cell phone numbers in each others cell the crowd began to count down "10...9...8..7...6...5..."I looked at him and he looked at me. Ever since I met that guy at the party I wondered who he was and what's his real name. But my thoughts were interrupted when my cell phone ringed It was 12:03 when the guy I met at the New Years Party texted me. Happiness went from my head to toe. I opened the phone to see his text. Mr.President:Hey singer. I texted him back Singer:Hey Mr.President what's up? Mr.President:The ceiling Singer:LOL well of course. SO I'm guessing ur at ur house. Mr.President:Well yeah I'm bored! I have nothing else here to do. Singer:Well the only thing I do is write songs Mr.President:U write songs? Singer:Is that surprising? Mr.President:No. I write songs too! Singer:That's weird how we have so much in common. Mr.President:Yeah Singer:Well g2g. Have school Mr.President:Me too. Singer:Okay bye! Mr.President:Bye Both of us hang up. Man I forgot to ask him which school does he go to! Oh well might as well wait until next time. Well I had to go to school. So once I got to school I headed straight for my locker. So I will ask him for clues and if he lives here or somewhere I'll go see him."I said. Then the bell ringed. I waved to my friends and left for my fourth period class which was science. At science class My teacher Mr.Brian was really boring but I needed an "A" for the semester so I had to pay attention but then Nick came in late. Mr.Brian noticed and said "Nicholas Jonas. Your late." "I know. Sorry."he said and walked to his seat. Man does he ever stop. Anyways after the class Mr.Brian said "Samantha Richards. Come here."And I did. When everyone was gone he said "I need you to tutor someone." "okay. Who is the person I am tutoring?"I asked. And this is when I get really shocked when he said "Nick Jonas"NICK JONAS!!!! he is probably talking about another Nick Jonas right?Oh who am I kidding there's only one Nick Jonas. So I said "Him?Are you serious?" "I know. But he needs a tutor. I will give you extra credit."He said. I sighed. Besides I need that extra credit. SO i said "Okay. Fine" Mr.Brian said "Okay. So meet at him at 3:30." Great here comes my nightmare. So I nodded and walked to lunch. Once I got into the lunch room I my cell phone ranged. I took out my purse and saw that Mr.President has texted me again. I looked at the message which said "yo what's up?" I replied "Horrible"-Singer "How come?"-Mr.President "I have to tutor the meanest jock in my school"-Singer "that's gotta suck"-Mr.President "I know. Well g2g"-Singer "Bye"-Mr.President "Bye."-Singer Dang it I forgot to ask him again! Oh well there is always next time. So I sat with my friends and told them the whole thing. "Oh man that's gotta suck."said Laura. "I know! And I have to meet him at my house at 3:30"I said and got so mad. So before any of my friends could say anything I got up and walked to the Nick's table known as the Popular Table. Once I was there I said "Hey Nick. Can I talk to you for a second?" He looked at his friends and then said "Um sure."Then we walked somewhere. "Um Mr.Brian said that I have to tutor you. So meet you at my house?"I said. "Whatever."he said so glib(glib means that you don't care). "look if you don't want to be held back I suggest that you take this seriously. And if you don't show up that time then I'm not going to waste my time. Got it?"I said. He said "Whatever"Man that is so annoying!!! I rolled my eyes and walked away. Man will this day ever get worst? Well at the end of the school day I walked home. And once I did I told my mom and dad "Hey mom. I am going to tutor one of my classmates. IS that okay?" "Of course."said her mom "Oh and we;re going out so be good okay?" "Okay."I said. My mom smiled and kissed my forehead. Then both of my parents left.And I waited. And waited. And waited. It was now 4:00pm and yet no sign of Nick I was getting so angry that I'm not going to bother tutoring him. That's when I heard the door bell. So when I answered the door it was HIM. Nick was out of breath and said "Sorry." "Sorry? You should be. It took you thirty minutes to get here? Or were you too busy with Miley?"I said. "Look I did say sorry."said Nick. "I'm not going to waste my breath on you so see ya"I said and was about to close the door until Nick Held it. "look what can I do to make you forgive me?"He said. I stood there silent and sighed. "Fine. But if you don't pay attention then I'm going to tell Mr.Brian to get you another tutor got it?"I said. He nodded and walked in. So Then our tutoring session began When it ends Well to my surprise he actually got it.Well it was easy. SO I asked. "So what do you want to do now?" "Hm I don't know."Nick said. "Want to play baseball?"I asked. "Is your backyard big?"he asked. I giggled and said "Look for yourself."I lead him to the backyard. Once we got to the back he was really shocked. Let me show you what it is I looked at Nick. Nick was looking at his cell phone and I asked "Why are you looking at your cell phone?" He said "Nothing. Well got to go."and left. Okay now that was weird. But I just loved looking at the scenery. Which reminds me I just want to show you guys my house rooms (Connor's room) (My room) (Guestroom) (2 Bathrooms) AND A LOT MORE! What I didn't get was why Nick was looking at his cell phone the entire time. But as I was thinking my cell phone rang again. Mr.President was texting me again. I opened my text to see this: Mr.President: Hey Singer:Hey what's up? Mr.President:Well I miss you Singer:LOL I miss you too Mr.President:Well how was your tutoring go? Singer:Well the jerk was not mean Mr.President:But you know what's weird? Singer:What Mr.President;Someone tutored me too Singer:Who? Mr.President:Um I don't know her name Singer:Seriously? But I know he isn't. I had a feeling he was close. So close I could feel him. "But I can't. Okay?I just have this feeling that he is here. Somewhere here!"I said in frustration. I just keep getting mad. Who wouldn't get mad if their friends say he is not here or something? But luckily the bell rang. "Okay gotta go."I said and left them. Man will they just accept the feeling I have for him! Sheesh! But as I wondered I bumped into someone. My books went flying. As I looked up I saw the eyes that looked so familiar. Flashback Samantha looks in the mystery guy's eyes. He looked in her eyes. End of Flashback The weird thing was that it was the same feeling I had with the guy I met at the dance. His eyes were dark brown like the guy. But it couldn't be him right?Maybe. It couldn't be the obnoxious Nick I know of. Nick snapped out of it and said "Watch it loser."And that's when I had enough! I had it. With all his comments,his thoughts,everything! "You know what Nick?I Seriously don't like you. And you don't like me. Guess being friends with you when we were little was a waste of time."I said. Nick just stood there. He was so silent. As I gathered my stuff. And before I left I said "I'm going to tell Mr.Brian I don't want to be your tutor. I don't want to have to tutor someone who will just make fun of me." Then I left. Nick was about to go after me but then the second bell rang. Just as the third bell rang I was going to tell Mr.Brian I did not want to tutor Nick anymore but then Nick pulled me aside. "What the hell Nick?!?"I said. "Look I'm sorry."said Nick. "How many times are you going to say that Nick? This is the second time I heard you say that!"I said. I was getting so mad! Nick who thinks that saying sorry was not enough for me. He had to prove that he was truly sorry and he wouldn't do it again but he did it again. "Sam I really need this grade or else I won't be able to get into college.Please?"said Nick. His eyes were pleading. When I looked in them they were so familiar! I shake my head. "No Nick! Not anymore."then I left for my seat. I didn't want to tell Mr.Brian yet. I wanted to cool off before I tell him. During class I could feel that a pair of eyes looking at me. When I turned around I saw Nick looking at me but then he looked away. What does he want now?I rolled my eyes and turned around. After class I was about to approach Mr.Brian when again was pulled aside from Nick. "What now Nick?What do you want?"I said in a mad voice. "Look I'll pay you to stay as my tutor"he said. "NO! I just knew it! SO I texted back Singer:OMG that is so cool Mr.President:Hey how about we meet at Starbucks? Singer:Okay. What time? Mr.President:Well how about after school? Singer:Okay Mr.President:Okay see ya then Singer:Okay bye Mr.President:Bye they hanged up. Yes! I can finally prove that he is here to my friends. So I ran to my friends and said "Hey guys guess what?" Laura said "What?What happen?" "The guys I told you guys about texted me and said he is in East Northumberland High. And we are meeting at Starbucks after school."I said in a rush. "OMG congrats!"said Sasha. "See I told you!"I said in pride. Now I can skip Nick's tutoring session for my date. So after school I wanted to dress up so I chose these shirts But I chose pink since I liked it. Oh and did I tell you I had a walk in closet. My parents like getting big and huge things like my house and what's inside of it. So I did choose the pink shirt. And of course the necklace! And the rest And an outfit for me is not complete without a bag Now my outfit is totally finished! Now I had the necklace I was wearing the day of the dance. So when the guys sees me he will recognize me. So I checked on the mirror one last time and I liked how I looked. Now I headed to Starbucks! Once I was there I wanted sit near the window and wait for him. "Samantha?" I heard someone said my name so I turned around to see Nick standing there. "What are you doing here?"I said. "Well I have a date. Unlike a loser like you I get a lot of them."he said with a smirk. "Well I don't need a guy right now."I said. "Yeah that's because no guy even wants you! Your so ugly you could be the Beast in the play of Beauty and the Beast!"he said with a laugh. Now that made me cry. I had never cried in front of him but now I do. I started crying and said "You jerk!" and then ran to the girls bathroom.I can't believe how low Nick was. Actually he was always low. Ever since he met Miley he became the most insensitive guy I ever met. After a few minutes I stopped crying. The words Nick said was hurtful. Being friends with him was a waste of time! So I know that my guy was waiting for me outside so I wiped away my running make-up and walked out of the bathroom. I looked around and saw that Nick was still there. Nick looked up and walked to me. I looked away and walked to my seat. I looked at the window hoping my guy would come. Nick came up to me and said "Sam I'm sorry. I didn't---"I interrupted him "Mean to. Yeah that's what everyone says."I said while looking at the window. "Sam---"he said. I was angry. So turned to him and said "Look Nick why don't you leave me alone? I have a date." He was looking at me weird. "What are you looking at?"I asked. He looked in my eyes and said "Singer?" I was shocked. I...I mean no one knew my nickname except me,my friends,and... the guy I met. Nick said and without saying a word I went with him outside. Nick took both of my hands and we began to dance. I was in total shock. I mean are you serious? The Guy I hated so much was the guy I liked? Nick was my mystery guy. But...but. Oh man I feel like fainting right now. "Now do you believe me?"he asked. "I...I...I"I was stuttering. I couldn't speak at all. "Sam?You okay?"he asked. "No I am not okay! You are my guy that I met at the dance?"I asked. He nodded. "Oh you got to be kidding me. I have to go."I said and was about to leave when Nick grabbed my hand. "What's wrong?"he said. He sounded so concern. "You can't be---"I said but then Nick kissed me. The jerk kissed! OMG he was a good kisser... wait am I starting to like him? No way. Maybe. Oh man! I pulled away and said "I need to think"and left Nick. I could hear Nick's footsteps behind her and hearing "Sam! Wait up!"I just stopped where I was. Nick caught up and said "Finally. You walk quick." I just ignored him and sat down on the bench. We were at this place Nice place. And now it was with the guy from the dance and the same guy who was a jerk to her! Great this park was known for Romantic Park. And now the guy I liked is sitting next to me. I looked away from Nick. Nick was still looking at me. He put his hands on mine. I turned to him. And when I did I just looked in his eyes. Man were they cute! I think I'm starting to like Nick. Well Nick was looking into my eyes. For some reason when he leaned in I started to. Once we kissed it felt like paradise. That's when it started to rain. We pulled away and looked up in the sky. Then looked back at each other and smiled. "So what does this make us now?"I asked as the rain poured on us. He smiled and said "I think you know."I smiled back and kissed him again. Then he pulled me up from the seat and twirled me. I laughed and said "Nick. Put me down!" "Not unless you tell me that Nick Jonas is the hottest jock in the world."I continued laughing and said "Never!" "Okay then."he continued to twirl me. I laughed and said "Okay! Okay! So I changed into it and walked downstairs to eat breakfast. There I saw my mom,dad,and my little sister Kelly. My brother probably left for his early classes. I tickled my sister "Good Morning Kelly." She laughed and said "Hi." I ate breakfast quick. But when I looked at my cell phone it was time to go. I sat up and said "Okay. I have to go to school. So I walked to my car And drived off. Ugh I hope the time flies by. At school So as soon as I parked my car I saw Nick with his friends. But you know when you have a reputation you have to protect it. As soon as I saw her face with tears I felt so guilty. Samantha is going to totally kill me for saying those things. How could Nick do that to me? I guess he just wanted to play with my heart. I heard footsteps but I didn't care if it was Nick. All I wanted was to be alone. When I was looking down on the ground I saw a foot. I looked up to see Nick. Nick's point of view I found Samantha on the swings which was right near the school. Well me(Kevin) and Joe wanted to make sure everything was okay with Nick so we walked over to him before classes started. I started the conversation and said "Hey dude. But even though Nick is still not going to be forgiven. But it was such thoughtful gifts. I can't make up my mind I'll just go home. Nick's point of view Luckily I come out of school early to put the flowers and the card in her car. I just arrived at her house. I knocked on the door. There her mom and dad were standing there. So one New Years they were holding a masquerade karaoke and dancing. I know there is no such thing a masquerade karaoke but in that hotel there was. So I just wanted to stay in my hotel balcony until my mom came outside "Hey hunny. Aren't you going to the masquerade karaoke and dance?"said my mom. I looked at my mom and said "Nope." She looked at me and said "Why?It's New Years Eve you should be there" I groaned and said "Do I have to?" She said "Yes now go and dress up" "Fine"I said and walked in to see a beautiful dark purple with a mask and perfect heels I gasped and said "Oh my gosh. This is what I'm going to wear?" "Well actually that's for the dancing but this is what your wearing for the karaoke"said my mom and showed my the outfit "CUTE! Thanks mom"I said "Your welcome. After they were finished the host came up. "Give it up for them! Okay now we are going to choose two people from the audience. Once the spotlight stops on those two they have to come up and sing for us" So now the spotlight starts around and points to me and the guys who I thought was familiar. I didn't want to go but two guys picked me up and brought me to I begged "Oh no I don't think I can sing" They got the other guy to and he begged . But they blocked him. The host gave me and the guy the microphone. He said "Don't worry you'll thank me. Or not."Then he walks off. Now I was going to embarrass myself. I love singing when no one hears me. I felt like that girl who had long hair and her prince charming was waiting for her to throw him her hair. But mines was different. My prince charming was singing.
