In 2005, the Brothers were signed to Columbia records after Steve Greenberg (Columbia's President) decided that, while he enjoyed Nick's voice, the three would be better as a group. The group considered naming themselves "Sons of Jonas" but later settled on Jonas Brothers. The first song they wrote together was Please Be Mine, and their first single, "Mandy" was released in December of 2005. Their first huge hit single was S.O.S, written by Nick Jonas. The group began touring regularly and writing and performing music for various TV shows as well as their own upcoming albums.

In 2007, the Jonas Brothers signed with Hollywood Records.

Not only are they great musicians, but the Brothers are also involved in several other projects, inlcuding J.O.N.A.S. (Junior Operatives Networking as Spies) for the Disney Channel, a series called Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream, and recording "Band on a Bus" which shows footage of the Brothers recording their third album, "A Little Bit Longer".

The three Jonas Brothers - Nick, Joe, and Kevin, all wear purity rings on their left-hand ring finger and promises to stay pure until marriage. They all started wearing it when their parents, Denise and Kevin, Sr., asked them if they wanted to. The brothers were interviewed by Details Magazine and Joe quoted that they are "promises to ourselves and to God that we'll stay pure 'till marriage". Nick had stated that "it's [purity rings] pretty awesome" and the rings are "just one of our ways of kind of like being different than everybody else out there". several Broadway shows including Beauty and the Beast, Les Miserables, A Christmas Carol, Annie Get Your Gun, and The Sound of Music. In 2003, Nick's first single "Joy to the World (A Christmas Prayer)" blew away Christian radio fans and made it to the top of the adult charts. Records, where they released their second Self-Titled album in August. Within two weeks, the album reached the top 5 on the Billboard Hot 200, putting the brothers in a great position for success.

The Jonas Brothers have since been on several tours and have several more scheduled for 2008. They have; joined Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana, Best Of Both Worlds Tour, been starring in Hannah Montana for an episode, filmed the Disney film, Camp Rock, their own reality series, Living The Dream, appeared in lots of talk shows, interviews, travelled in Europe to promote their last album and film, Camp Rock, and much more.

Their last album was released in August 2008, and it's called 'A Little Bit Longer'. All the songs on the record are self-written or co-written with music manager and their dad and manager, Paul Kevin Jonas Sr. The two singels, Burnin' Up and Lovebug are out and the third singel, Tonight will come in the beginning of 2009. They are now currently working on more songs for their next album, and are filming for their own TV serie, JONAS. They also have a Camp Rock 2 coming up, along with a movie called, Walter and the Farting Dog, where even little brother, The Bonus Jonas, Frankie Jonas will appear and have a main role.

They have also won alot of prizes these last two years(-07/08) and have performed at the AMA's, VMA, gotten nominated, went plantium with their albums, topped iTunes, and much more.

The Jonas Brothers are growing everyday. People now compare them with The Beatles. "It's an honur," the brothers say. "Our dreams have come true. We are forever thankful for everything and our amazing fans. We couldn't have done this without them."
